FPL Support Engine dynamically updates Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDRs) throughout the season based on each team’s home and away performance over the short and long term. Early on, ratings may be slightly skewed if a team starts unusually strong or poorly, but they become increasingly accurate as more data accumulates. For Gameweeks 1-5, FPL’s default FDRs are used.
